Spielwarenmesse Nürnberg 2008 / Nuremberg Toy Fair 2008

Zuerst die schlechte Nachricht: Allzu viel Neues gab es nicht zu bestaunen – und eigentlich muss man sich fragen: Weshalb auch, denn in der R/C-Branche sind die Produktzyklen aus mehrerlei Gründen einfach länger, als auf dem Computer- oder Handy-Sektor. Wie oft zuvor handelt es sich bei den "Neuheiten" daher gerne um überarbeitete Betaversionen von Produkten, die dann als "Version 2" (oder moderner "SE" für "second edition") neu angepriesen werden. Wir haben uns für Sie durch den teils schlecht durchschaubaren Dschungel gekämpft und Einblicke gesammelt, die man sonst nirgendwo erhält!

First the bad news: There were not that many really new things – and let's be honest, why should there be that much new stuff every year? For a number of reasons the life cycle of R/C products is significantly longer compared to computers or mobile phones. So like often before it's mostly just reworked beta versions of products that are advertised as brand new and upgraded "second editions". We fought our way through the jungle and collected interesting material you won't find anywhere else!

Hier kann der Spaß einfach nicht zu kurz kommen: HeliGraphix samt SwissUnit auf der Messe 2008! J Fun is pre-programmed: HeliGraphix including parts of our SwissUnit at Nuremberg Toy Fair 2008! J	Ja, er gehört definitiv zu den besten Seelen in der R/C-Branche: Rainer Hacker von Hacker-Motor! Yep, he's definitely one of the best guys in the world: Rainer Hacker of the famous Hacker Motor company!
Immer für einen Spaß zu haben: Michael Klan (re.) und Michael "QuaX" Greisinger von Big Boys Toys. Nach dem Riesenerfolg der FX-40 sind die Pultsender stark auf dem Vormarsch. Insofern ist es nicht verwunderlich, daß nun auch ein kleinerer Bruder (FX-30) erscheint. After the huge success of the FX-40 (tray version of the T14) it was clear that a smaller brother would come out this year (FX-30).	Nach der T12 erhält die T14 abermals einen kleineren Bruder: Die T10! Ebenfalls ein überzeugendes Konzept. The next newbie in the T14 family: Robbe/Futaba's T10 – looks convincing, too!
Endlich sind sie da, die neuen 2,4 GHz 14-Kanalempfänger passend zu den großen robbe/Futaba-Sendern! Available at last: The big and fast 2.4 GHz 14 channel receivers for robbe/Futaba's big line of highend transmitters!	Ist das cool oder was?! Werbe-Schild am robbe/Futaba- Stand. In überlebensgroß auch auf der Beamer-Leinwand! J Now ist his cool or what?! Advertising seen at the robbe/Futaba booth. The same thing was projected even bigger by a beamer! J
Dies ist das neue 3D-Flaggschiff von robbe: Der "robbe 4s" in der 1-Meter-Klasse. This is robbe's new 3D flagship: It's called "robbe 4s" and a lightweight design fort he 1 m class.	Definitiv stolz auf seine Konstruktion: Peter Wahl von robbe Modellsport. Definitely proud of his construction: Peter Wahl working for the robbe company.
Hochinteressant: Der neue "Turbinen"-Motor aus dem Hause Hacker, geeignet für 10s-Helibetrieb. Wir sind gespannt! Really interesting new 10s motor for electric helis by Hacker. It will be exciting to see how it compares to the Actro series (like the 24-3) by Köhler Elektromotoren!	Viele haben es nicht mitbekommen: Schon vor über einem Jahr haben sich Petr Novotny und sein Bruder (= MS Composit) getrennt. Petr vertreibt nun TORSION-Blades über Hacker. After splitting up with his brother and leaving MS Composit Petr Novotny now sells his own line of TORSION blades through Hacker.
Unsere Neuheit des Jahres: Ein frisches Glas Orangensaft! Im Hintergrund der "Vision-X", nach der Pleite der schweizer Helisystem AG nun im Vertrieb von Ikarus. Hmm ... Our new item of the year: A fresh glass of orange juice! Pictured in the background is a "Vision-X" – formerly distributed by Helisystem AG, now available from Ikarus. Hmm …	Sieht gut aus: GY-611 in der Ikarus-Variante. Eine sinnvolle Ergänzung zum neuen Produktportfolio. GY-611 in a new outfit? Nope, it's the new Ikarus gyro expanding their line of products for larger helis.
Fantastisch! Der "Jive"-Drehzahlregler von Kontronik schließt mit 80 A Dauerleistung die Lücke zwischen altbewährtem 55A-Jazz und Power-Jazz 63V. Very good news! The new "Jive" series of ESCs (80 A) by Kontronik close the gap between the old 55A Jazz and the big Power-Jazz 63V. A necessity for 10s operation.	Der G4-Flugsimulator von RealFlight wartet mit beeindruckenden Features auf. Unter anderem lassen sich mit dem Heli Büsche schneiden! The RealFlight G4 really makes a good impression: Among a multitude of new features you can chop trees with the heli!
Fliegt ähnlich stabil wie Koax-Helis: Der neue "Halbkoax" von Hirobo namens "Quark". Flies nearly as stable as the little coax helis: Hirobo's new "semi-coax" construction "Quark".	Hoher Spaßfaktor: Der PiccoZ von Silverlit hat viele Brüder bekommen, dazu eine Nick-Steuerung. Der Metallring wird von der kleinen Spule angezogen und neigt damit den Rotor. Yes, that's even more fun! Silverlit's PiccoZ now has an elevator function: The little coil attracts the smal metal ring and thus tilts the rotor disc. Without a doubt a clever innovation!
Diese mysteriös schwebende Kugel darf man nicht anfassen. Wir haben das kleine Schild leider nicht gesehen ... innerhalb eines Sekundenbruchteils ist das Ding explodiert; von dem Knall bekamen im Umkreis alle einen Gehörsturz! Mysteriously hovering globe. We didn't see the "don't touch" sign ... the result was an ultra-loud explosion!	Das beste zum Schluss: Unser traditionelles Bild von Graupners Wolfgang Simon. Auf dem Bild überlegt er gerade, wie er die 10 kg schwere, innovativ elektrifizierte Skalar-Mechanik von 1708 3D-tauglich macht. Nächstes Jahr vielleicht ...
