Viel – und vor allem richtig – Neues gab es heuer kaum zu vermelden, auf der weltgrößten Messe für Spielwaren und Modellbau in Nürnberg. Jeder, der in der Branche auch nur annähernd einen Namen hat, ist hier in der ein oder anderen Form vertreten – das gilt für Hersteller wie auch Privatpersonen. Für uns ist der Messebesuch daher stets eine gute Gelegenheit, alte und neue Freunde aus aller Welt mal wieder persönlich zu sprechen – und daher trotz aller Terminhektik ein Heidenspaß! Ob es am HeliGraphix-Outfit lag, ist schwer zu sagen – dennoch sind wir praktisch nie durch die Gänge geschlendert, ohne angesprochen zu werden; und das hat uns gefreut! Die Frage #1 war zumeist: Wann kommt "Remote Madness 2"?! Dazu wollten wir uns nicht wirklich äußern, aber wie man uns kennt, hatten wir natürlich ein kleines As im Ärmel ... J

There weren't many new items at this year's world's biggest trade fair for toys and the R/C model industry in Nuremberg – especially no really new ones. Everybody who has got at least something like a name in the scene is present in Nuremberg – and this goes both for companies and private persons. So for us the fair is always a good chance to personally talk to old and new friends from around the world – and thus lots of fun, despite all the time pressure! We don't know whether it was because of the HeliGraphix outfit, but we hardly made it through the corridors without being approached by people; and it was nice talking to you! The question #1 usually was: When is "Remote Madness 2" coming out?! We didn't really want to talk about that, but as you know us, we did have an ace up our sleeve … J

Ok, was also gab es Neues? Von etwaigen Elektro-Euphorien war in diesem Jahr nichts mehr zu spüren, am meisten tat sich aus unserer Sicht noch auf dem Elektroniksektor. Als Beispiel sei die 2,4 GHz "Spread Spectrum"-Technologie genannt, die zwar noch prinzipielle Probleme und rechtliche Aspekte klären muß, aber auf längere Sicht die Zukunft im Fernsteuersektor sein könnte. Entsprechende HF-Module werden übrigens auch für die T14/FX-40 erhältlich sein – dann aber vermutlich erst im kommenden Jahr.

Darüber hinaus scheint die Welt zu bewegen, daß die Zahl der guten Messehostessen seit Jahren drastisch rückläufig ist; und erstmals in diesem Jahr sah es auch in der Modellsporthalle 7A wirklich mau aus! Zusammen mit dem Rest der Welt hofft man also auf das nächste Jahr – in dieser Sache wie auch im Modellbau! J

OK, so what was new then? Clearly no electric euphoria this year, and if we were to mention something, then it is – again – progress in electronics equipment. The best example is the 2.4 GHz "Spread Spectrum" technology; there's still a number of problems and legal issues to solve, but it might be the future of remote control. And by the way – matching HF modules for the T14/FX-40 are currently being developed, although not available until 2008.

Apart from all this, what moves the world is that the number of nice hostesses has been decreasing dramatically over the past years. And first time this year, they were a rare sight also in the model sport hall 7A! So what remains is the hope for the next year – concerning this matter as well as the R/C sector! J

Robbe Heli-Command oder V-Stabi? Beides funktioniert, eines ist deutlich günstiger – allerdings auch der Funktionsumfang schmäler. Robbe Heli-Command or V-Stabi? Both work, but one is significantly cheaper – although with somewhat less functionality, too.

... und hier der größere E-Bruder in der 1,30 m-Klasse. … and here is the bigger brother in the 1.30 m class.	Die vielleicht interessanteste Neuheit bei Thunder Tiger, und unsere Neuheit des Jahres: Ein statisch (!) tauchendes U-Boot mit integrierter Kamera! Maybe the most interesting new item from Thunder Tiger, and our choice for the "new item of the year" title: A statically (!) diving U boat with integrated camera!


Klarer und netter Trend beim Nachtfliegen: Rotorblätter mit Schrift! Clear and nice trend for all night flying fans: Rotor blades that can display text!	Ein ähnliches Bild gab es am Stand von MS Composit zu sehen.. A similar gimmick was on display at the MS Composit booth.


Wieviele Jahre hat es nun gedauert, bis sie endlich kamen?! Die beleuchteten Heckrotorblätter. How many years has it taken until they finally came out?! Illuminated tail rotor blades.	Nicht neu, aber trotzdem cool: Blinkende Aufklebefolie – natürlich auch für Nachtflug. Not new, but still cool: Flashing decals. Also for night flying, of course.


Wirklich extrem winzig: Koaxialheli im Kleinstformat. Bitte nicht niesen! Really extremely small: Coaxial micro helicopter. Please hold your breath!	Und es geht immer noch leichter und kleiner! Zum Fliegen im Hamster-Käfig? Thought the other one was small already? Here is an even smaller one! Good for flying in your hamster cage?

Wir denken darüber nach, uns dieses Gefährt zuzulegen und mit einem großvolumigen Verbrenner-Motor auszurüsten. J We are actually thinking about buying this nice construction here and building in a really big powerhouse. Will it fly? J


Der Verbrenner-Zoom vom letzten Jahr: Etwas modifiziert und leicht gewachsen? This is last year's hit, the Zoom 450 IC: A little bit modified and slightly grown?	Die Roboter-Welle aus Japan überrollt uns! Oder doch nicht?! Leicht orientierungslos sind ein paar dieser lustigen Gefährten unbemerkt vom Stand weggelaufen und in der Menge verschwunden! J Japan's robot boom will overrun us! Or maybe it won't?! Some of these nice pals here seemed a little disorientated when they left the booth unnoticed and disappeared in the crowd! J


Nicht so lustig und fast ein wenig angsteinflößend: Eine Roboter-Schlange, die auf ihre Umgebung reagiert. Not so funny and also a bit scary: A robot snake reacting to its surroundings.
