Nuremberg Toy Fair 2005

Um es vorweg zu nehmen – allzu viele Neuheiten gab es im Modellbaubereich aus unserer Sicht nicht. Messehighlights waren sicherlich der neue Futaba-Sender 14MZ, die (inoffizielle) detaillierte Ankündigung des 1,60m-Verbrenner-Three Dee MPs von Jan Henseleit sowie ein fernsteuerbarer Golfball! Daneben haben wir etliche alte Freunde aus dem In- und Ausland wieder gesehen und einen echt spaßigen Tag miteinander verbracht. To cut it short – there weren’t many really new things in the R/C sector this year. Highlights were the new Futaba radio 14MZ, Jan Henseleit’s (inofficial) detailed announcement of the 1.60m i/c version of the Three Dee MP, and a remote controlled golf ball! We also met a number of old friends both from the continent and from abroad, and we all had a really great time together. The following pictures by Rainer Deragisch show a few impressions.

Das diesjährige Messehighlight war ohne Zweifel die Vorstellung der neuen Futaba 14MZ. Sie soll ab März 2005 erhältlich sein. Without a doubt the Futaba 14MZ was this year's biggest highlight. Release is scheduled for March 2005.	Robbe wird den Sender auch in einer Pultversion herausbringen, etwa ein halbes Jahr nach dem Handsender. Dank Drehtrimmern ist diese Version fast noch praktischer! Robbe will offer the Tx as a tray version about half a year after release of the handheld Tx version. It's almost even more comfortable to use due to its dial trims.
Und ja, wir alle hoffen, daß robbe/Futaba den neuen mini-Synthesizerempfänger zur 14MZ zusammen mit dem Bonbon ausliefert! J And yes, we all hope that Futaba will ship the new 14MZ synthesizer receiver together with that candy! J	Graupner/JR erweitert abermals seine erfolgreiche Serie an mx-Handsendern: Diesmal um die mx-12. This is the latest member of the successful mx-series of Graupner/JR transmitters: the mx-12.
Wolfgang Geist von 3D-Heli-Fun war sichtlich begeistert von der neuen Graupner-Senderabdeckung. All around good guy Wolfgang Geist from 3D-Heli-Fun really liked the new Graupner Tx cover. There's a lot of rainy days in this part of the world.	Samsonite ist nichts dagegen: Der neue LiPo-Hochsicherheits-Ladekoffer von Graupner! Good company for Samsonite: Graupner's new safety case for charging lithium polymer batteries.
Nach dem Abstauben hat Graupner die gute alte UNI-Mechanik nun mit NiCd-Akkus elektrifiziert ... After wiping off the dust Graupner finally electrified the trusty old UNI mechanics using NiCd batteries ...	Für den Zoom 400 gibt es nun etliche schicke Tuningteile. There's lots of nice tuning parts for the Zoom 400. Awesome!
Hier ist er, der Zoom XL! Das Modell sieht wirklich vielversprechend aus! Bigger, better, Zoom XL! This model really looks promising!	Inko Thim von Inko's Modellbauland in München ist der neue Importeur von Miniature Aircraft (X-Cell). Im Bild der neue 3D-Benzinheli Spectra G mit Zenoah G231/G26. Gesamtgewicht ist rund 5,5 kg. Neuer X-Cell Heckrotor in offener Bauweise für 3D-Flug. The new open design X-Cell tail rotor transmission for 3D.	... und dies ist die F3C-Variante. Sieht ebenfalls gut aus! … and this is the F3C version. Looks good, too!
Die Caliber-Familie von Kyosho hat nun endlich auch eine 50er Maschine bekommen: Der M5! Finally the Kyosho Caliber line got a 50 size sibling: The M5!	Das Vorserienmodell macht einen guten Eindruck; eine kleine Anlehnung an den Raptor ist unverkennbar. The pre-production model made a good impression. As it is obvious there are a few similarities to the Raptor.
Auch Mikado hat den Trend zu 3D erkannt und endlich an den Flugeigenschaften des Logo gearbeitet! Als wir vor zwei Jahren mal den Rotorkopf bemängelt hatten, war man ja scheinbar doch merklich pikiert gewesen. Believe it or not, Mikado realized the trend towards 3D flying and finally improved the flying characteristics of the Logo! When we criticised the rotor head two years ago Ralf Buxnowitz appeared to be everything else but happy.	Hirobo hat diesmal keine Mikroänderungen an bewährten Produkten durchgeführt und noch zwanzig Buchstaben an den Produktnamen drangehängt, sondern diese schöne Carbon-Version des Shuttle Sceadu Evolution herausgebracht. Hirobo did not change some micro details this year and add another twenty letters to the product name, but showed this neat all carbon and aluminum version of the Sceadu Evolution.
Echte Innovation, keine Frage: Dies ist ein 1:8 Nachbau des BMW H2R Wasserstoffautos! Der wassergekühlte 11,5 ccm Viertakter liefert ca. 2,2 PS. Gewicht rund 5 kg, 80 km/h Spitze. Now this is real innovation: a 1:8 model of the famous hydrogen powered H2R record vehicle by BMW! The 4-stroke engine delivers 2.2 bhp, weight is app. 5 kg, max. speed 50 mph. www.HyRacer.de	Liegt es an uns?! Dieses neue UFO flog wirklich gut, bis es an die Deckenlüftung krachte und abstürzte. Ein echtes déjà-vu ... (siehe Bericht vom letzten Jahr) Is it us?! This new UFO flew really well until it hit a vent on the ceiling and came down knife edge! What a déjà-vu … (see last years report)
Wirklich nette Gruppe: Zweiter von links ist Jan Henseleit, und zum ersten Mal ist er nicht größer als sein Umfeld … J Mark Juhrig (3. v.l.) ist mit über 2 Metern (!) normalerweise sogar noch größer. Second from left is Jan Henseleit, and for the first time he's not taller than his surroundings … J Mark Juhrig (3^rd from left) is a very nice person, too, and with almost 7' (!) normally even taller. Dies ist F3C-Mann Jörg-Michael Muuß – bis heute ist ihm nicht klar, weshalb der TDNT-Rotorkopf (Bild) scheinbar besser funktioniert, als seine vielen F3C-Köpfe. This is F3C guy Jörg-Michael Muuß – till present day he's trying to figure out why the TDNT head (picture) seems to perform better than all of his F3C heads. Robert Sixt hatte uns im Vorbeigehen ebenfalls noch erwischt. Er ist nicht nur ein guter Pilot, sondern auch ein wirklich netter Kerl. Robert Sixt literally jumped at us at this year's Toy Fair.
