HeliGRAPHIX ist mittlerweile bekannt für etwas außergewöhnliche Aktionen. Diesmal sind wir der Maulwurfplage auf deutschen Start- und Landebahnen sowie in privaten Gärten zuleibe gerückt. Die Methode ist ebenso einfach wie effektiv: Den Heli in sicherer Höhe parken und warten, bis der Maulwurf kommt. Sobald das Tier aus einem seiner Löcher hervorlugt und sich nach einem Rundumblick sicher fühlt (es schaut nie nach oben, weshalb auch), wird der Pilot per Funk von der Bodenaufklärung verständigt und eingewiesen. Im Bild sehen Sie einen Three Dee NT unmittelbar vor dem Zugriff!

HeliGraphix has gained a reputation for performing unusual stunts. This time we got down to the problem of moles digging holes all over the runways of air fields and in private gardens. The method is as simple as effective: hover the helicopter at a safe altitude until the mole shows up. The animal will not be overly cautious since it will only be looking for potential enemies on the ground and never up in the sky. A scout lying on the ground will direct the heli pilot by radio as soon as the mole has been spotted. The picture shows a Three Dee NT just before action!

So ganz einig sind wir uns nicht darüber, wer den schlimmeren Part hatte: Pilot, Bodenaufklärer oder Fotograf. Alle standen teils weniger als zwei Meter von der Maschine entfernt. Vor technischen Ausfällen ist man nie gefeit, und daher sollte man die Aktion auch als das betrachten, was sie ist: ein gelungener Scherz mit glücklichem Ausgang. Von einer Nachahmung raten wir ausdrücklich ab! Die nachfolgenden Aufnahmen zeigen ein paar nette Eindrücke von den Vorbereitungen zu diesem Stunt.

We're not sure whose part was the worst: the pilot's, the scout's or the photographer's. Partly the helicopter was as close as two meters. Since one can never be 100% sure that everything works the way it is supposed to, the whole stunt should be regarded for what it is: a good joke with everyone fine in the end. Please do not attempt to try this yourself! Below are some nice pictures showing the preparation of this stunt.
