Noblesse oblige handelt von einem Superreichen Mr. Big, der alles hat, was das Leben so richtig angenehm gestaltet: Geld, Macht, Frauen ... Und dieser Mr. Big sucht nicht das Glück, sondern einfach nur Spaß – und dabei nimmt er keinerlei Rücksicht auf jegliche Verluste! Dieser Film ist womöglich eine der wahnsinnigsten Produktionen, die Sie jemals gesehen haben! J

Noblesse oblige is about a super rich guy named Mr. Big; he's got everything that makes life enjoyable: money, power, women ... Now what could someone like this guy seek? The answer is simple: ultimate fun! And he really doesn't care about anything. This film might be one of the most insane productions you have ever watched! J

Haben Sie wirklich scharf auf die Helis geschossen?

Did you really shoot those helicopters down?

Natürlich. Dies ist HeliGraphix – was haben Sie denn gedacht?! J

Ungut war lediglich, daß beim ersten Heli gleich der erste Schuß den Akku-Pack getroffen hat und danach die Drehzahl abfiel. Der zweite Schuß ging in den Rotorkopf, leider blieb die Zelle weitgehend heil (die Elektronik ironischerweise nicht). Wir hatten überlegt, den Heli nachträglich noch zu sprengen, allerdings wäre der Aufwand so groß gewesen, dies passend in den Film einzubinden, daß wir die Szenen original belassen haben.

The only problem was that the very first shot hit the battery pack of the first helicopter which in turn caused the rotor rpm to drop rapidly. The second shot hit the main rotor head, unfortunately the body remained more or less intact (ironically the electronics didn't). We thought about blowing up the helicopter later but it would have been so much effort to neatly integrate this scene into the whole production that we decided to stick with the original scene.

Trotz Problemen mit dem Wetter und einem sehr gedrängten Zeitplan waren die Dreharbeiten zu Noblesse oblige ein Riesenspaß – und das spiegelt sich im Film auch deutlich wider. Aufgrund der sich ändernden Lichtsituation waren in der Postproduktion viele Korrekturen notwendig. Auch mußte eine 6-Sekunden-Szene (Abfahrt der Limousine) komplett retuschiert werden – dies bedeutet Einzelbildbearbeitung von immerhin 150 Bildern und hat allein mehrere Stunden in Anspruch genommen. Insgesamt besteht der Film aus 253 Einzelkomponenten, nicht mitgerechnet sind hier die zahlreichen Video- und Audio-Filter.

Schwierig für die Mitwirkenden war auch, daß die Szenen nicht alle am selben Tag und nicht in chronologischer Reihenfolge gedreht werden konnten. Zudem ist es in Deutschland nicht einfach, eine Genehmigung für den Gebrauch von scharfen Schußwaffen zu bekommen. Das von HeliGraphix ursprünglich bereitgestellte Budget wurde dann am Ende auch merklich überschritten – der Film ist dafür um so besser geworden, und wir wünschen beste Unterhaltung bei diesem erneuten Stück KULT! Despite of problems with the weather and a tight schedule, the shooting of Noblesse oblige was great fun – and this clearly shows in the final production. Since the light situation changed several times, quite a number of corrections had been necessary during post production. What's more, a 6 second scene (departure of limousine) had to be touched up completely – this means modification of 150 single pictures and has taken several hours. The final film consists of 253 single components, not counting the many audio and video filters used.

It has been somewhat hard for the crew that the scenes could not be shot on the same day and not in chronological order. What's more, in Germany it is really difficult to get a permission to shoot with live ammunition. So in the end the budget provided by HeliGraphix had been exceeded – however, this only made the film better, and we hope you enjoy watching this new piece of CULT (there's almost no text, so no language problems here)! Wenn das Drehen schnell gehen muß, werden die Szenen bereits ein paar Tage vorher durchgesprochen und der Ablauf geprobt. If there's not much time to shoot a scene it is wise to talk about it a few days earlier and to actually have people practise.
